Aspartame and Implants – the Roberts view

You still haven’t answered this: Now, back to my original question. As Betty Martini is now promoting the works of someone who says, quite categorically and clearly, that "most researchers have failed to provide convincing clinical or investigational proof that these implants induce immune reactions, which purportedly caused severe systemic symptoms", why is Ilena still supporting Betty? One can only assume that Dr Roberts is a shill for the silicone manufacturers, but surely Betty must be tarred with the same brush now that she is promoting this guru. Only in QuackLand would anyone come up with your drivel … Your assumptions are just Quacking … There are MANY people with whom I disagree (either on one point or many) and I still respect their work and their strengths … only a Quack/Junk$cience Flack like Ratz would repeat this stupid question …

Thank you for the data on the book. I have read several articles about the dangers of aspartame including one that says the results of drinking diet drinks with aspartame on an airplane can cause serious and even fatal consequences. I have also heard discussions on how the implants were deemed responsible for conditions in women with NO evidence that they have done so. I don’t believe in witch hunts, but in holding the correct party responsible and accountable. It seems that the implant suppliers and manufacturers were an orchestrated witch hunt victim. They will be someday. There are millions of people who are finding NO answers from conventional medicine because they think mercury in the mouth is safe. Utterly stupid. http://www.cfsn.com/ADArebut.html Jan

Let me just go over this again: Ilena quotes me saying "No, Betty didn’t actually say that" and uses this as an example of where I "make up lies and claim she says them". Once again, just in case I haven’t got I right: Ilena says that I "make up lies and claim she says them" by saying "Betty didn’t actually say that". So "didn’t actually say" means the same as "claim she says". I think I understand Quacklogic now. I’m glad we cleared that up. Now, back to my original question. **Ilena, are you listening? Do you still support Betty Martini now that **you know that she is championing someone who is opposed to your cause. I fully support Ms. Martini in expressing her opinions and beliefs … both the ones with which I agree and the ones I don’t … I further find the HealthFrauds and Junk$cientist’s behavior’s (such as the disgusting ways of Sock Puppet Stella Ros Dalefield) in throwing Ms. Martini off the HF list and then mocking her typical of their Censorship and Quack behaviors. What I wonder is why my opinion matters to you.

No, Betty didn’t actually say that. It’s my extrapolation from the terrible dangers of aspartame as described by Betty Martini and her followers (it is apparently the most deadly chemical known to man) and the fact that 250 million doses of the stuff are consumed each day. Therefore, if Betty is right, we would expect to see that number of damaged people daily. Somehow, I miss seeing them. This is one of the reasons that I doubt some of the anti-aspartame rhetoric. Oh, let’s be honest, ALL of the anti-aspartame rhetoric. It’s that same big number problem that can’t be answered by the anti-fluoride, anti-amalgam and anti-vaccination campaigners. I was looking for Dr Roberts’ latest book at Amazon and I came across an earlier book called "Breast Implants Or Aspartame (Nutrasweet(r)) Disease? : The Suppressed Opinion About Perceived Medicolegal Travesty". The book description says: – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> The silicone breast implant litigation culminated in a proposed $3.2 > billion settlement filed on November 9, 1998. So, would anyone like to comment on Dr Roberts’ opinion that the compensation ordered for women supposedly harmed by breast implants is "a travesty" based on "dubious litigation".
