assisted suicide

Question:

I don’t know if I’m posting to the right place; this is my first time on the Web and I’ve spent hours looking for the right spot. I have AIDS, fairly advanced ("statistically") but I feel good.  Still, I want to be in control when "the time comes."  My doctor and I have discussed this and he will not, for whatever reason, help me.  He did, however, suggest looking on the Internet. Does anybody have any info on such things? (I’ve read Final Exit, by the way, and cannot get the drugs they suggest; my doctor will not prescribe them.) Thank you.  Also, please know, I am not "suicidal," I feel great and plan to live a long time — despite the odds.  I just want to feel I’ll have some control over my death when the time comes. Thank you.
