Fever, no other symtoms?
Question:
A cat I once had got sick like that. He stayed in bed one day, like a person with the flu. I took him to the vet–working on the idea that the kitten had had a fight with him and bitten or scratched, he treated for an infected skin injury. Even though we couldn’t see one, the frequency of fights between the two (I eventually let the kitten go to a friend who wanted her) certainly gave the vet’s hypothesis credence. And his treatment worked. Meredith

I wonder how common this is. Our kitten was pretty much back to her old self the next day, although she is still on antibiotics. She tested negative to FLV, FIV, FIP, etc. but the vet said to keep her on antibiotics for 2 weeks (she’s been taking the pediatric drops for a week now
