Have you tried more sleep, more exercise, and an overall beter diet? There is no supplement that will overcome a lousy lifestyle. Tsu Dho Nimh When faced with choice between changing one’s mind and proving there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof. John Kenneth Galbraith

This is precisely what I was asking people NOT to do. You do not know what my condition is, and you do not know what kind of lifestyle I lead. I am one of the "healthiest" people I know, in that I take very good care of myself. For all you know I could have Multiple Sclerosis or AIDS. I’m asking a simple question about two specific herbs, and of course I gotta get slammed by one of the alt.med guilt-trippers. Make no mistake about it, it is an ego thing when people hold themselves up higher than "normal" society who "doesn’t take care of themselves" and guilt-trips them about their "unhealthy" lifestyle. I know this is an open forum so I gotta take the B.S. with the good stuff, but I can still tell you to stick it up your something-or-other. Arghhh. Me (who get’s plenty of sleep, exercises, eats extremely well, and has a medical condition that can’t be cured by the above) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text ->There are SO many forms of Ginseng and ginko on the market. I take 500mg twice daily of American Ginseng as part of my routine. From what I’ve been able to find by searching the web, the american form is better than the Siberian (which is not really a plant) or the Korean.

Patrick, there is a product called Pegasus Ginseng, that is supposed to be one of the most potent. It is North American Ginseng, but cultivated by the Chinese. I believe the company is Biotech, in Atlanta,Georgia. As far as Ginko is concerned, I think one of the best is Prolongevity, by Life Extension. Go to Life Extension.org. Take 60mg. in the morn, and 60mg. in the evening, and see how you feel. Hope this is helpful. Paul

Hi folks, This newsgroup is funny. It is like a warzone. I can’t believe how much infighting there is. Well, I shouldn’t say anything because I don’t know enough about the people and topics being aruged, so that said…. There are SO many forms of Ginseng and ginko on the market. How can I find out which ones are the most effective in combating severe tiredness, brain-fog, and stress. Please, no spam about your particular products or religious beliefs. I’m interested in finding out about any studies done to show tha certain types of these herbs are superior to others. Thanks for any insight! And again, no lectures on raw foods diets and the evils of diet soda. Patrick
