- Could you maybe clarify this? – The implication here is that the K&N isn’t as plugged up as the paper filter after a year. Which would make me beleive that the K&N didn’t stop as much junk as the paper one did. – Origin: The Wild Wild West * 503-623-0185

The difference is the oil on the cotton causes the dirt to clump on the filter, with aids in trapping more dirt. Even though, they still flow well. Check out David Vizard’s books in your local speed shop for more info. He runs dyno’d tests on everything, and gives TRUE numbers for the benefits. > Origin: The Wild Wild West * 503-623-0185
