Wow, beautiful family!!  And four born 2 weeks after the first ones!! Amazing!! The only thing I can think of is to rub bag balm on her teats to help soothe them.  It’s really hard to keep a determined Mama away from her babies!!  You are a wonderful person to take on such a responsibility!! Please keep us updated! Regards, Cyndy :)

Amber, I’m afraid I have no suggestions either but Maya and her babies are all darling and I’m very happy for her that you came into her life.  I’m sorry about her other babies but I hope the 6 you have and Maya all have long, happy, loved lives. Hi,      I called my vet and he wanted to see Maya again so I took her in. He said that she is still not lactating and to use Grannick’s bitter apple to keep the kittens from suckling. It seems to be working. :-)     She will be going back in to the vets on Friday of next week to get fixed so that there wont be anymore little ones. I want to thank everyone that gave their suggestions and very kind words.
