Up all night…
Question:
"You could’ve done what I did. Toss and turn with a belly full of acid until 3:30am, then finish off the night finally with technicolor dreams of situational dillemas. My nightmares are not of monsters and boogie men. They are honed to perfection to place me in "triggering" situations. Seems the common theme of "being trapped" is popular with me. Still, I know to not go without sleep. That will make me very sick. The bad dreams usually wear off within a half hour or so. If you consistently have insomnia Jim, you might take an otc sleeping pill." Hi Mark, I actually ended up crashing out for 2 or 3 hours at 5 AM. If it does become a problem, I’ll get some chemical calm… but I figure one or two sleepless nights a month are not a problem. As I take MAOIs, it would be best for me to steer clear of any of the OTC sleep aids. I know that lying in bed, unable to sleep feeling all too well… that’s like Chinese water torture to me, which is why I’d rather be up. Yep…situational nightmares are what really creep me out, too. Like in the old Calvin and Hobbs comic strip, "My dreams are getting WAY too literal". Luckily, I was into work mode and was doing some intricate synth design …which in the light of day proved totally unfeasible, but I learned a lot by my errors. Plus, I’m becoming more and more nocturnal… I remember your comments re: fucking with one’s circadian rhythms and will be awared. Jim — http://heimarmene.homestead.com/index.html Before you buy.
