Reject AZT and all other viral drugs

Question:

Many have been using AZT when also adding alternatives such as nutrients. This is only half way.  AZT, DDI, etc. do nothing to help in stopping the progression of AIDS. George

        AZT does interfer with the replication of the virus.  However,         it also suppresses bone marrow production which very negatively         affects the immune system.  It has other toxic effects.  According         to a NCI study, Maitake mushrooms are just as effective as AZT         without the side effects.  AZT typically holds off the onset of         some of the AIDS related diseases/symptons longer than the case         would be without it, BUT, once the progression to full AIDS         begins, it is much faster to death, so there seems to be no         actual gain in lifespan.  Both the bone marrow suppression and         the ability of some of the more virulent viruses to "work around"         the AZT may be to blame.  AZT has shown an ability to decrease         transmission of HIV to newborn infants from the mother, but         Vit. A has been shown to be just as effective in this respect.
